Why It Matters
Reading Builds More Than Vocabulary
A library is the quietest classroom — and often the most important. The habit of reading shapes how a child thinks, feels and learns long after they leave school.
At KNPIS, library time is part of the timetable, not an extra. We want every student to leave us as a reader for life.
Cognitive Growth
Regular reading expands vocabulary, improves comprehension and sharpens critical thinking — at every grade level.
Emotional Intelligence
Stories let children inhabit other lives — building empathy, perspective and emotional literacy.
Academic Edge
Strong readers consistently outperform across subjects. Library habits directly translate to exam results.
Independent Learners
The library is where students learn to find answers on their own — a skill that lasts a lifetime.
Quiet Focus
A silent, distraction-free zone teaches the discipline of deep work — a rare and valuable habit.
Creative Imagination
Books are the most powerful imagination engine ever built. Every page opens a new world.
Code of Conduct
Library Rules
