Smt. K. N. Patel International School is founded by the Mahavira Education Trust on Devnagar Road, Gota — Ahmedabad. The school opens its doors with a pioneering No Bags No Burden philosophy, welcoming its very first cohort of students.

Specialised laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology open. Smart classrooms with interactive flat-panels are introduced across primary grades, and the school crosses 200 enrolled students.
