Our Fleet
A Network Built for Reliability
Engineered for Safety
Every Bus, Every Day
Eight pillars of student safety that go into every kilometre our buses cover.
GPS Live Tracking
Every bus is GPS-enabled. Parents and the transport office monitor real-time location, route adherence, and ETA.
RFID Boarding Alerts
RFID swipe modules send an instant SMS to parents the moment a child boards or alights — no surprises.
On-Board CCTV
Every bus has multiple CCTV cameras recording continuously. Footage is reviewed for safety and discipline.
Female Attendants
A trained female attendant rides on every route, supervising students from pickup through drop-off.
Fire & First Aid
ISI-marked fire extinguishers and first-aid kits are mounted on every bus. Drivers are trained to use them.
Regular Maintenance
Buses undergo weekly mechanical checks and quarterly RTO fitness inspections. No bus runs without clearance.
Speed Governors
All vehicles are fitted with speed-limiters capped at the CBSE-mandated 40 km/h — strictly enforced.
Verified Drivers
Drivers hold a minimum of 5+ years of heavy-vehicle experience with police-verified records and annual re-training.

Discipline Counts
Rules for Students
A short list of habits that keep every journey calm, on-time and safe — for every child on the bus.
Repeated violations may lead to suspension of bus privileges.
- 1
Be at the bus stop 5 minutes before scheduled pickup time — buses cannot wait.
- 2
Always carry the ID card; RFID tag must be tapped during boarding and alighting.
- 3
Remain seated throughout the journey. Do not stand or change seats while the bus is moving.
- 4
Keep hands, head, and personal belongings inside the bus at all times.
- 5
Listen to instructions from the bus attendant and driver — they are responsible for your safety.
- 6
Do not eat or drink on the bus; keep it clean for everyone.
- 7
Damage to the bus interiors will be charged to the student's parents.
- 8
Report any concern — discomfort, bullying, or route issue — to the attendant or transport office immediately.
For Parents
Partnering With You
Bus safety is a shared responsibility. A few small things from parents help everything run smoothly.
Please Do
Recommended Practices
- Ensure your child reaches the bus stop on time, every day.
- Inform the transport office in advance about any change in pickup or drop arrangement.
- Receive your child personally at the drop point, or send a registered guardian.
- Keep the school updated with current contact numbers and emergency contacts.
- Pay transport fees on time to avoid service interruption.
Please Avoid
Things to Steer Clear Of
- Do not flag down the bus at unauthorised stops along the route.
- Do not send your child if they are unwell — keep contagious illnesses off the bus.
- Do not ask the driver to deviate from the assigned route under any circumstance.
- Do not allow strangers or unverified relatives to pick up your child.
- Do not delay informing the school about route or stop changes.
Quick Answers
Frequently Asked Questions
The most common questions parents ask about KNPIS bus service.
How are bus routes decided?
Routes are planned based on the residential clusters of enrolled students. Each route is optimised for the shortest commute and minimum stops. New routes are added when student density justifies them.
Can my child change bus stops mid-session?
Yes, with a written request to the transport coordinator at least one week in advance. The change is subject to seat availability and route feasibility.
What happens if the bus is delayed?
The transport coordinator sends an SMS notification to all affected parents. Parents can also view live bus location via the GPS tracking system.
Is transport service available throughout the academic year?
Yes, the service runs on all working days as per the school calendar. There is no separate fee for summer/winter terms — the annual fee covers the full academic year.
What is the policy if a child misses the bus?
It is the parent's responsibility to arrange alternative transport. Drivers will not return to a stop once they have moved on, as it disrupts schedules for other students.
Are buses available for late-stay activities?
Regular routes run only at the standard departure time. For sports practice, exam prep, or events, parents must arrange separate pickup.
